Aerial Abstract

These are the images of my very first exhibition at the Dorman Museum  24th April to 24 June 2008.

I took these photographs from the air. With one exception they were taken while I was flying a light aircraft. Many were taken in the USA because Sue and I used to rent a light aircraft and fly round the South West in the summer.

The there is called “Aerial Abstract” because it’s often difficult to tell what the image represents because the the almost abstract look of the image.

One of my favourites. This is the Great Salk Lake in Utah. The colours are due to algae in the ponds where water is evaporated to produce salt.
